First Baba Isa (also commonly called FBI) is a Nigerian-born writer, speaker, and consultant. FBI is a success strategist, a lifestyle designer, a social worker and a community and national development consultant. He is the writer of the widely-read “The Maker's Map” – a life-journal and daily devotional and “FBI Is Thinking” – a series of autobiographical short stories.

From 2011 to present, FBI, as the Deputy Executive Director/Programs Manager of CORAfrica, [an organization dedicated to assisting rural children and their families in Africa through education, healthcare and economic empowerment within a community based educational set up], has been in the forefront of driving fundraising activities/proposals and a change management program that has caused an increase in staff productivity and donor funding.

In June 2004, while barely 22, he founded Highflyers Forum, an organization established in post-primary and tertiary institutions, dedicated to helping people discover and develop their talents, pursue their life purpose, and achieve success and excellence in life. Over the years and as Founder of Highflyers Forum, he has designed several trainings, seminars, workshops and conferences that equipped about 5000 young people in leadership, relationship, overcoming adversity, business/money-making. He initiated a quarterly talent-hunt program that has trained and equipped 500 young people to be singers, writers, bloggers and entrepreneurs. He has mentored and provided various cadre of financial aid to 42 young people to gain university education. At the moment Highflyers Forum is refocusing on inspiring and equipping young people in the areas of Leadership, Agriculture, Entrepreneurship and Rural Development.

From 2007 to 2011 he volunteered as SSCE and UTME Teacher, Harmony Educational Centre, Jos, Nigeria, where he coached students offering arts subjects like English, Government/History, Literature in English, and Economics to prepare for the Senior School Certificate Examination and University Matriculation Examination. He received a recognition award for exceptional performance as a volunteer. Most of his students are graduates and professionals in various fields today

FBI is the CEO of Idea Factory, a consultancy, multimedia and project management company that specialises in human, organisational and nations' capacity development. He is also the Vision Chancellor (VC) of First Baba Isa University of Success, a revolutionary educational program designed to invent solutions for human and societal advancement.

FBI is working on two ideas right now: he is designing a platform for young rural development experts to emerge. These rural development experts will be known as FBI Fellows. He is also about to float a shoe personality company known as the Spirit-Of-Shoes.
He is one time Senate President, Youth Progressive Alliance, Ogoja, Cross River State, 2002-2004. As Senate President he worked with fellow senators to design a platform where young constituents and political leaders can meet and dialogue.

Today, he is a co-founder and Senate President of The Statesmen; a select group of intellectuals equipped and passionate about engaging the political landscape with the aim of inspiring productive leadership.

He has a Bachelor's degree in Law from the prestigious University of Jos in Nigeria, a Certificate from the Thinking School Africa held in Dubai, UAE; and he also holds a Certificate in Special Education and a Certificate in Christian Ministry.

Over the years, he has taken courses in many fields, including Neuro-Lingusitic Programming (NLP), Performance Improvement, Human Behavioural Psychology, Communication Skills, Leadership and Governance, Organizational Design, Business Transformations, Science of Money-making, Time Management, and Mind Dynamics.

FBI is an amazing speaker; only few mortals have mastered the art of conveying life changing information mixed with homespun humour that inspires and mesmerizes audiences like FBI does. In November 2013, he addressed a cross section of change makers from all over the world in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

First Baba Isa wants to be remembered as a disciplined but considerate mentor, an accommodating son, an uncomplicated but atypical brother, an unpredictable but dependable friend, an uncompromising but trustworthy colleague, a compassionate but fearless speaker, an astute but God-fearing businessman, an iconoclastic but patriotic Nigerian and a saint in the hereafter.

But the legacy that matters most to him is to be remembered as a firm but considerate father, a faithful and romantic husband who tells the wife “I love you” at least 1000 times a day. To be remembered as a young man who asked the fiancée: “Will you marry me?” almost every day until they got married; because the “yes” answer she gives him is music to his ears.
